The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

Announcers trying to say Ray Lewis' helmet shot had nothing to do with Austin Collie dropping the TD. Please.

Colts up by 14. Get one more score and that'll really take Rice out of it. Flacco can't win this himself.

Hard hitting game on both sides, I'm very impressed with the Colts defense in the 1st half, I expected the Ravens to be able to run the ball a little better.

Two lucky breask by the Colts-both INT's. One thge Ravens turned back over to the Colts and the other was a "pass interference" call. Thank goodness for luck. Do you think the referees help out the team who is favored in close contest (i.e. 14 points or less)?
It gets tougher as the Colts advance. GO COLTS!!!!

Colts Win. Feeling too positive after the D held the Ravens to 3 points tonight. Next week is going to let me down, I just know it.

I'm not expecting too much vs SD but then I think of all the Titans watching at home and smile :p

See my issue is... our defense is playing well enough to go and win the SB... but after the sports year I have had... I just know it won't happen.

Be interesting to see how the Colts fare against the Jets the second time around. It's ironic that the Colts pulling starters probably put the Jets in the playoffs. Hopefully, that does not come back to haunt them.

I think that the Jets are very similar to the Ravens - good defense, good running game, young QB. Jets D is obviously better but their QB is worse. It's not an easy game for the Colts, but I guarantee that most Colts are happy its the Jets instead of the Chargers.

Pretty funny the way the weekend ended up. Going in, the general consensus that I gathered from all the NFL "experts" was:

Out of the 4, the 2 best shots at an "upset" was Baltimore at Indy, and Dallas at Minnesota. Arizona had a good shot at New Orleans. None of the 3 were very close and certainly no upsets.

The only game eveyrone agreed wouldn't be an upset or even close was the Jets at San Diego. The Chargers were just too hot and too good for the Jets to even think about upsetting them.

So yeah...

one way or another, you shouldn't feel more comfortable against a team who you just beat this season vs playing a team you almost were about to blow out till you took out your starters....doesn't matter how many out of the last how many times you say you've beaten them; playoff matchups are all about how teams are playing this season, not about history, and you're kinda getting a team that's coming in pretty hot

I guess I can update my posts? That will makie it 8 straight against the Ravens and 9 out of 11. You agree with me yet?

jets d is clicking quite nicely about now. i hope that decision to pull the starters and put the jets in the playoffs does not come back to smack caldwell upside the head. that said, i would rather the colts see the jets all day over the bolts. go peyton!!
