you do know though the Colts only beat the Ravens by 2 points last time - like 17-15
neither are great matchups, but the jets might go better
True, but the Jets seem to be in a groove and are gelling at the right time.
Not to mention remember what happened last time a WC winner came into Indy after beating the Bengals, and the Colts were the number 1 seed in a season they flirted with perfection.
Ravens scare the **** out of me.
I would rather play the Jets, but I am not scared to play the Ravens. The Colts have owned the Ravens. The Ravens are good, no question about that, but the Colts are better. The key will be to stack the line and make Flacco beat us, which I don't believe he can.
And go Jets.
I would love to see them make it to the SB and win it but I am also not convinced they can pull off the next 2 wins. Keeping my fingers crossed but also trying to be realistic.I'm not a Colt hater. But I'm not a fan either.
Just pointing out what a difference series history made LAST game the Ravens played... Which was none. They are playing very well right now. Great clock management and defense. That's difficult to beat.
I have to say the Ravens played an impressive game. Not a Ravens fan but was cheering for them to beat the Pats (Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for huh?)
I'm also a bit disgusted with the Colts organization for not trying to go undefeated, and I'm a firm believer that cooling your heels going into the playoffs is always a mistake. I predict we're about to find that out.
I was disgusted as well. I don't think it is fair to the players or the fans or even the other teams.
Believe me, if they did finish the season 16-0, you can be damned sure I'd be rooting for them to see it through and finish what the Pats couldn't do. I'd LOVE to see Peyton come through and succeed where Brady and CBB failed, that'd be some real justice (except if they ended up meeting my Cowboys in the SB)
:good!: Completely agree!! Well except for the Cowboys part...lol
As it stands, they're not undefeated, and I don't really care whether or not they make it through, and to be honest with you, I very seriously doubt they're going to be able to beat the Ravens and the Chargers consecutively.
one way or another, you shouldn't feel more comfortable against a team who you just beat this season vs playing a team you almost were about to blow out till you took out your starters....doesn't matter how many out of the last how many times you say you've beaten them; playoff matchups are all about how teams are playing this season, not about history, and you're kinda getting a team that's coming in pretty hot
