The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

Fixed all the defensive problems, though?

No but Langford will help against the run and Cole will give some pass rush which they lacked without Mathis. They still have money to spend, I would expect another d lineman and maybe safety. Most of this coming draft will be players on defense I would guess. If they didn't do anything else I think they are at worst the second best team in the afc.

I read that by looking at other players their age and past stats, the expected number of catches for AJ will be 60-70 with about 8 TD's and the total rushing yards for Gore will be around 750. If we can get those 'average' numbers, it will be a huge boost over H. Nicks and T. Rich.

My concern on offense is Pep.

That would help a ton. I dont care much for Pep either but I don think he is learning and getting better. He wants to run the ball just had not had the back to do it outside of Bradshaw and he can't stay healthy.

According to Jason La Canfora, Pagano feels it's invetiable he will be coaching somewhere else next season. This is good news, if he takes Grigson with him that's best cast scenario.

Well 0-2 major issues with this team. DBs can't stay healthy and o line is terrible. Officiating was terrible tonight. Good news is pagano and grigson are likely gone, should be able to get anyone they want having luck.

O line still terrible, rush D is better. Luck has to stop forcing it. Secondary has to get healthy, and ILBs have to play better coverage, that QB can only throw over the middle, nothing outside the numbers and you still couldn't stop it. Not good.

I actually feel sorry for the Colts when they play the Patriots. Brady may very well set single game records against them that may never get broken. Poor Indy.

O line struggled.
D had trouble covering middle of field
Running game looked ok
Run D much better.
Refs blew the onside kick, huge turn in the game

Pagano seems to be a great guy but its pretty clear he won't be back, Grigson may be out also as he should.
With Luck and the young talent on this roster there should be a line to take the job.

In all honesty I'd call Nick Saban. A lot of things that he didn't have in Miami are already in place in Indianapolis. I know he is almost 64, but he's got a good 5 years left in him.

That's kind of been my first thought, I think if they offered him control of roster he would take it (plus it would really help UT). Long shot but worth a try, offer Jim Harbaugh whatever he wants, he probably would not leave his school after one year but in coaching you never really know.
