Magic number down to one. Games left:

@ LA Clippers Wednesday
@ LA Lakers Friday
Denver Nuggets Sunday

Lakers remaining schedule:

@ OKC Thunder Tuesday
@Dallas Mavericks Wednesday
Houston Rockets Friday
@ Portland Trailblazers Sunday

Rockets have clinched at least the three seed. Would have to lose all three remaining games while Lakers would have to win all four remaining games to lose grip on the two seed.

The Rockets absolutely fascinate me. They have three potential All-NBA players in Sengun, Green and Thompson. But none of them project as potential #1 players that can lead you to a title. They have assets, I don't think they have a bad contract on the book, excellent coach. They have shown they can 50+ games with this core. Do they try and make a move? Do they wait until the next super-duper star (coughGianniscough) wants out? Do they just keep what they have and try the 03-08 Pistons route? So interesting.

Giannis is the move, or you sit on it. I don't think you need to be in a hurry to win now with the current state of OKC. If the right deal for Green comes along, then great. Or, maybe you want to focus on developing other guys so he needs to move? He's my odd man out. Otherwise, just do what OKC did to get here, and make smaller moves to keep stacking assets. All 3 are under contract for 2 more seasons.

I want them to trade for KD. I wouldn't do it if I were them.

I think they could trade for KD without selling the farm because I don't think Durant's services are going to be a bidding war. But I wouldn't bring him into that team, it's obvious he can't be the leader of your franchise.

I know you don't want to trade Booker, but do you think Houston would try and make that move?

Steering the carrier… small course corrections. Fertitta understands the show and was present during the Harden years.

Headed into Toyota Center, down 1-0 to GSW. Just like the old days. Good times. Rockets cannot let Draymond intimidate them.

Rockets go down in the Bay City, 109-106.

Rockets were 19-31, 61.9% from FT line. Can’t win playoff games with that statistic.

GSW were 20-22 on FTs. That’s part of the championship formula.

Rockets force game seven, 115-107. Only second road playoff victory over GSW ever. Back to Toyota center!
