The Official Denver Broncos Thread

It would go to show this is a team sport. Elway won way out of his prime too.

And missed games his final year too.

Brady''s defense carries him to a couple SBs too.

Anyway... Manning now has a winning record vs Brady in the playoffs and is 3-1 for AFC CG.

Comparing legacies, that was huge for Manning.

Brady has the titles. Manning has the stats. Brady has head to head, but Manning going 3-1 in AFCCG nullifies the regular season results.

Certainly helps with the "can't win the big one" argument. Would love to see PM go out in style. It will be a tough match up, though.

The arguments are completely ridiculous. It makes for great radio talk, that's about it. The difference between Brady and Manning in their primes is miniscule considering both are top 5 QBs. And Manning has been pretty damn successful in the playoffs. 4 superbowl appearances is not easy.

I understand the love for the Panthers. But this Broncos defense is special. It's 20 deep with good NFL players. And the Broncos managed 12 wins against the toughest schedule in the NFL. Malik has been a terror. If Manning has another game manager game like today, they have a shot with this defense.

Manning is the first QB to go to 4 SBs with 4 different coaches. That is pretty incredible when. You think about it.

the only downside this morning is for the Panthers to get their first, it'll have to come at Peyton's expense......thems the breaks. happy for Peyton, i agree, i think yesterday was very big for his legacy, and going to 4th superbowl, two teams, 4 coaches....

the brady comparison gets tired, it's a tired narrative, but i am happy to see that 3-1 record in the AFC title game.

is it fair to say Brady owns the regular season aginst Peyton, but, dare i say, Peyton is money against Brady in the post season?? hm.....good for 18, VFL!!

I really gotta hand it to the organization and Elway...this is a helluva roster they put together. The glaring weakness is the run deficiency, but they were able to pay Manning, give him weapons, and assemble an incredible defense. Nobody has mentioned both starting safeties were out at the end of the game yesterday, and they still stopped Brady 4/5 (5/6?) times in the 4th quarter.

I wish they had this D the first 2 seasons Peyton was in Denver.

My wife just sent me this from her first grade classroom. While I disagree with the message, I love the passion!
