The Official Denver Broncos Thread

D is looking tight. Chargers offense has produced 14 points in the last 2 weeks.

I'm not liking Denver's chances to make it to the Super Bowl. That Rams loss is going to haunt them when they have to go to NE for the ACC CG.

I generally am optimist but they just haven't looked very dominant down the stretch. Hoping I'm wrong.

The defense is really getting it together

Just heard Gruden say he should think about going and coaching LSU. Lol. That would turn volnation into a ****storm. I can see it now, les miles to Michigan and gruden to lsu.

I don't get how that is an interception? Simultaneous catch goes to offense. JT caught it first, and then Nelson got his hands on it, and then they went out of bounds and Nelson wrestled it away.

What am I missing here?

BTW, JT's really gotta work on using his big body to shield defenders away. There was a pass Newman knocked away earlier cause JT didn't box him out, as well.

This isn't baseball, tie doesn't always go to the runner. J/k I don't why it was called that way. Seemed sketchy, but in no ref

Being a former basketball player, you that would be his strong point

Yeah, and say it is a turnover, why is it not a fumble? Manning put it in his hands. That's not an interception.

Having a hard time understanding what the Broncos' offense is trying to accomplish by relying so heavily on the run. Everyone says more ball control to prepare for a showdown with the Patriots or Seahawks down the road.

It looked good for a couple weeks but now the offense looks all out of sorts against the bengals. The passing game is non-existent. It's gone.

Maybe the genius of the plan will soon reveal itself, but right now things feel bleak. Not sure what to make of it.

Denver is getting skunked by the Bengals. I think i'll just look at old Tennessee football games on Youtube.

Seriously though, I'm just guessing, but I think it's because he never made a "football move" with the ball while having sole possession of the ball, and as they went out of bounds the cinci guy had the ball closer to him and imo controlling more of the ball. Idk though, just guessing

Manning can't throw, offensive line can't protect. Manning needs to be able to step into throws. He's declining. Maybe the arm strength will be better with the bye week, but for now, they have to run the ball.

What's more worrisome is how Von Miller disappears for games. For just about every bad loss for the Broncos, Von has failed to make an impact, and for the most part, his play has been negative. I'm not a Von hater. He takes over games at times. But I never understand why he just has games where he is plain bad.

Denver's special teams forgot to make the trip to Cincy. The D has stepped up in second half and the O has shown some life.

But the kickoff and punt coverage has been atrocious the entire game. This is a frustrating team to watch right now.

They don't look like a SB contender. They're just limping and backing it's way into the playoffs. Sure, they're still winning games, but they're not dominant and they've been downright lucky at times.

Yep. They will lose their first playoff game. Denver is an average football team.
