I think Denver wins 3 out of 4 and finishes 12-4(Beating the Bills,Bengals and Raiders but losing to the Chargers)

The Prater thing was a combo of being a high paid kicker, with character concerns (the suspension). They are dispensable. Talent wise, I'd say he was a good, but replaceable kicker.

Yeah, that's not that big of a difference in result when you consider how much Prater is paid. Clearly Prater is better, but if McManus had kicked 18 FGs you would have expected him to make 12.5 compared to Prater's 14. Is 1.5 FGs worth the extra $1.8M they would have paid Prater over McManus?

Kickers are a dime a dozen. I can't find what they're paying Barth, but it's probably not much and he hasn't missed yet.

I wonder how many fans go to the games baked. Do they have a designated area in the stadium for this like a cigarette smoking station?

Did you watch the game? I didn't think he looked bad. The stat line was bad, no doubt. He made two bad throws and otherwise played well in the game manager role. The run was working and D Thomas wasn't making plays, so Manning ended up having a quiet day.

Peyton's arm strength has looked bad most of the season. He really needs protection to step into his throws. Otherwise, it's all floaters and ducks. Getting a run game going is really important for the playoffs.

The Broncos will win this game over the Chargers 34-27 and pretty much sew up the AFC Western Division Championship.

Wow, 2 phantom flags on that 3rd and 10 run conversion. They called Montgomery at the line of schrimmage, and there is no way you could call what he did holding. Then they got J Thomas at the sticks, and that one was real questionable, but making it on Montgomery took them out of FG range.

9 points. Gotta hold this lead.

The Broncos defense has picked up the gauntlet and played well today. The Broncos lead 19-10 and will win this game,IMO. I think Denver will pretty much win the AFC West with this win.
