Because you are talking about probability. If you look at any one of those games individually, yeah, the Patriots are likely to win, but even great teams don't have good odds of winning 7-10 straight (depending on if you were talking playoffs or not), especially with a tough schedule like New England faces.

I won't be too surprised to see them win out, but the fact that you'd be "shocked" if they lost is what I was chuckling at. Odds are not on their side.

If the game was at Miami, then I would agree with you. But the next game is in Foxboro. Not saying it's impossible but the Pats are something like 27-2 at home so it's very unlikely Miami beats the Pats at home.

Also the Dolphins beat them earlier in the season, before the Pats got everything together. Again, not saying it's impossible but the way the Pats are playing right now it's going to take a Herculean effort to beat them.
