The Official CoronaZoneVirus Thread

I took my wife to get the first Moderna shot today. She didn't have that frozen blood feeling I had, but the lady who gave her the shot had a similar reaction after both shots that I had.
Because of her previous health issues, we decided to wait 30 minutes before leaving; in the meantime, she got a jar of sorghum at the pharmacy where she got the shot (cool place called Mac's Medicine Mart, am sure @volfanbill is familiar).
We hadn't eaten at a restaurant (sit-down) in about five or six years, and she decided she wanted to go to Fisherman's Dock and get flounder and shrimp. That's what we did.
So I'm very grateful that she was able to go out today and get that shot (without any adverse reaction thus far) and that we had some quality time together on a pretty afternoon.

Is it true that we going to keep having to wear mask even after vaccinations? Is this going to be a yearly deal and masks the rest of our lives?

this stuff is really changing my mind on the J&J vacinne Georgia becomes third state to shut down J&J vaccine site
I know. That’s the one the VA is scheduling for. They were supposed to call this week to set up appointments. I still haven’t had the call yet. I could have taken the moderna vaccine at work and didn’t, because of the two shot. I wanted the one and done, get it over with deal. Chicken Little here was skittish of experiencing the same symptoms I had with the real deal. Still will go with the J & J one.

After the contaminated talc business and not getting baby powder right, I wouldn't trust J&J on this. That's just my thought, though.
We have a J&J company here, and there's always news of them in lawsuits of their products, hear it from friends who work there. I told my wife there's no way I'd take theirs if I took one. Just my opinion of course, I just don't trust the company. Again, just me.
