What's crazy a lot of these guys were really good coming in to pinch hit. As starters they have really fallen off the last half of the season. We don't have the power on the bench to come in and give us a lift. Portal will need to be really good to gain our traction back.

The biggest difference between this year and last is the offense. Last year, it didnt matter if we were down 5+ runs. We knew we had the offense to come back. Our pitchers knew whatever mistakes they made they had an offense that could easily clean that up. So the pitching, while very good, didn’t have to be perfect. Pitching this season had to be damn near perfect for us to win. It’s just the truth.

Yeah offense disappeared. I would still like to know what happend around the a&m, kentucky series losses. I think kentucky broke this team. LSU certainly finished the job.

I don’t get paid $3M to coach but keeping Abernathy and Newie on the bench while Bargs and Chapman give you nothing is frustrating.

Newie with a better AB than Bargs has had in 3 weeks. The end result didn’t matter, the AB was extremely competitive.
