The Official Arkansas @ Tennessee Fayetteville Super Regional Game 2 (Sun. June 8th 3PM EDT) (ESPN)

Bargo and Chapman strike out way too much for someone to use to high of a draft pick on , Chap is solid in right field, Bargo is just decent in the outfield

The biggest difference between this year and last is the offense. Last year, it didnt matter if we were down 5+ runs. We knew we had the offense to come back. Our pitchers knew whatever mistakes they made they had an offense that could easily clean that up. So the pitching, while very good, didn’t have to be perfect. Pitching this season had to be damn near perfect for us to win. It’s just the truth.

2023 had the same issue but with less defensive blunders.

This season and 2023 were like the mirror opposites from each other; that team started slow, took their lumps and got better as the season went on and they parlayed that momentum into the Natty run last year. This team started hot, got the weight of expectations placed on them and limped to the finish line. They did show enough character to make the Super Regionals, though, so I'll give them that. Gonna need a bunch of guys to develop this offseason

Chapman hasn't developed at all IMO. He's the exact same type of hitter that he was in 2024
The swing plane never adjusts to the pitch. If the ball runs Into the bat cool, if not then it’s a K. I contrast that with Dreiling who’s hands go to the ball every time.

He’s all about loyalty. Sometimes to a fault. But if he wasn’t, he would’ve been out of here in 2021 and we’d be back in the cellar so I’ll take it
What's crazy a lot of these guys were really good coming in to pinch hit. As starters they have really fallen off the last half of the season. We don't have the power on the bench to come in and give us a lift. Portal will need to be really good to gain our traction back.

It was doubtful the Vols would repeat
Still don’t like how the season is closing though
I’ll always have an office and closet full of 2024 stuff and great personal photos from 12 months ago made in Omaha.
This cws will be wide open. Each team have glaring holes.

I hope Oregon State wins it because that school deserves some positive karma

Looking at the draft boards we have a lot of talent but for some reason we just couldn’t put it all together , we need to keep our current portal pitchers and bring in several Fischer , Kilen caliber position players
