The Official Arkansas @ Tennessee Fayetteville Super Regional Game 2 (Sun. June 8th 3PM EDT) (ESPN)

I really enjoyed watching Fischer and Doyle, those two dudes embodied the fight of the Tony V baseball Vols more than anyone else this year. Really enjoyed Kilen, too, and I hate that he got injured as he looked really special prior to it (kid's definitely a warrior, though). Everyone else was maddeningly inconsistent

They’ve never won one. I just hate our rivals like anyone should. I’d consider LSU, Arkansas and Vanderbilt our biggest rivals
The problem is their fans talk so much **** for never having won the big one... they're the most deluded, insufferable fanbase on social media

It was always going to take elite pitching performances to win this weekend. Arkansas top 6 in their lineup all have over .300 BA. Even when we held them in check, we got nothing from our bats and don't play well from behind..

If this was against anyone out of the SEC it’d be easier to throw your hands up and say we made a good run with what we had

I just really hate it’s Arkansas.

Gonna be a long 8 months to next February.
If we run the score upon them in football, I’ll feel better

Nah, you were just being...what do they call it? An optimist? I'd go anyway. You can just enjoy baseball and not stress out over UT.
Went last summer for the beginning of the CWS. It gets expensive quickly. Especially if you have to fly to Omaha.

Well crap, I really do hate it for you my Orange friends. I was really looking forward to watching and following along with you folks on the forum, so I hate it for me too.

Just had a really bad day, unfortunately it freaking can happen anytime to anyone. The pigs are very good and have had a great day and everything has went almost perfectly for them.

At least it wasn’t blown again last season and then this happen. That would be unbearable, but you won the whole thing last season. Mr. Root can’t say that and I think will never be able to.

Strong coach, strong recruiting, growing into one of the strongest baseball programs and cultures in college baseball. This team will make many more runs, but when you have very good teams every season this is just going to happen sometimes, it’s part of the price. I wish my Dawgs had made it here to have this happen, but no, we get embarrassed at home in our own regional.

Just had a bad day filled with bad luck. I mean hell, you got arguably the best pitcher in the country and even he struggled.

On another bright side, you’ve just experienced a down or poor season by the new realistic standards and you freaking made a Super Regional and very realistically could have, maybe should have made Omaha again.

Will this make Van Horn something like 13-1 against Vitello? Is it possible that CTV is never going to win a series against him?
I can’t help but feel like overthinks and over coaches vs DVH. Reminds me of Fulmer and UF. The talent discrepancy hasn’t been there that many times. It feels tight and the team plays that way.
