We all knew the volatility of this Tennessee team and expecting them to go to Fayettenam and take 2 of 3 was always a tall task. I was pleasantly surprised they found their way out of a regional, and said anything else was just gravy. Tough to win on the road against a really good team like Arkansas with your 3 and 4 hitters in the midst of a polar plunge at the plate. Too many holes in this lineup despite the star power at certain spots. Hopefully they turn it around in this one, but they were always fighting an uphill battle.

Yep. It’s been a great season. I would not care as much about losing this series if it wasn’t the fact it was to Arkansas. Just tired of them abusing us every time we face them. I think we can still turn this game around, but that depends a lot on how Doyle responds the next few innings. I think he pitches a lot better when he pitches with fire and he looks passionless today. I think he’s trying to reign it in too much to avoid from getting tossed.

Getting to the supers in the first place after the performance in May was a miracle in and of itself. So if we do end up losing it’s hard for me to truly be angry, they greatly exceeded expectations with how our season turned out.

Just wish we got somebody else. I hate Arkansas and their idiot fans so much.

Yep. Inability to get hits, when we do we can't seem to get them home. Unforced errors, can't throw guys out stealing bases and wild pitches when we can least afford them. Gotta clean up the fundamentals. That said, we're probably quite lucky to be in a super regional.
