Anyone who has watched Heupel’s offense over the past 3 years knows what’s going on right now. This is as vanilla as he’s ever been. Hiding literally EVERYTHING on offense right now.
Vanilla is correct, I keep reminding myself of this, it's still frustrating, Milton should be On with basic throws

Ahh yes, the old vanilla playbook excuse. Let me guess, AP will go on to win their conference, right?

So the part where the O & D lines are getting shoved…..is that part of the deception too or nah

I know what we are doing! Giving Florida hope with this crappy play. THEN next week we are going to CRUSH their souls in the swamp!

YEAH, that’s what we are doing! All part of the plan!

Hope your assumption is correct, because this offense is so far from last year’s vertical fire works it’s almost unrecognizable.

We were not going to be last year's offense. We had to replace parts. Our defense looks better so overall the team may not be that far of a fall off from last year versus this year even if the offense is down.

We just need to beat Florida and we will start rolling. Our schedule outside of the game in Tuscaloosa and Georgia really isn't that hard. Tricky road games at Missouri and Kentucky. 9-3 or 10-2 is possible. We aren't a playoff contender (or a dark horse one at best)

We get the ball after the half, I think. If we can get a quick TD, I think Heupel will open up the play calling more. It looks like he got spooked by Joe's early misses and started playing really safe.

I get it. We weren't breaking off the big runs either so this is what "Heupel on ball control" looks like. It's slower, less exciting, and makes the team look like crap. I don't like it but it's pretty obviously what is being called. It will work on APSU. It will not work on decent SEC teams.

Man, you absolutely have to love this fanbase. They love you when you do well, but heaven help you is you have a bad game. It suddenly goes from "This is a great coach and team" to "This is the worst team ever. Get rid of the punter, get rid of the QB, get rid of anyone that makes a mistake". I am hoping that the message at halftime is get your head in the game and execute. I think Heupel and Halze need to figure out what flow they want to use in the second half. If it is 10 screens in a row, then a fake screen then bomb, fine. If it is play action and a bomb on the first play out of halftime, fine. They have started throwing caution to the wind on defense to try and keep maximum pressure. We should be able to take advantage of that. We have had one very poorly executed half, lets turn that around in the second half.

What’s most remarkable about it is the ability to vacillate between National Champiions to Cellar Dwellars seemingly from play to play.

Yes, there is good reason to be concerned about Milton, but you can’t decide that in kneejerk fashion after this one half.
