The Official #8 Tennessee vs. #5 Florida Game Thread, 12:00 PM ET, ESPN

I am very confused by how Title IX applies to stalking and sexual harassment. Golden is a dual citizen of US and Israel. Could it be that a diplomat is protecting Golden?

maybe, just maybe, incidents like this should be investigated by an outside independent authority, like law enforcement, and not an "internal" Title IX committee?

I'm kinda ignorant about this type of thing, but couldn't the women go public with the digital evidence they have? Seems like if it happened, there is no way to keep the messages from getting out.

At least we’ll always have this. Blowing out the national champion is a good look. We’re getting a little bit closer every year.
This win by the Men I was there UF definitely looked mediocre that day. I personally think there could have been multiple teams that could win the NCAAs this year. No dominate team, every win took luck and favorable ref calls and getting hot at right time all of that has to fall in your lap
Also, Lady Vols 1 of 3 teams to beat UCONN does show we are getting close for sure. Baseball #1 getting close to all everything school.

I’d like to see Track and Field return to the top. It used to complement football (Willie Gault, Anthony Hancock, Carl Pickens, Karl Kremser, Chip Kell, etc). But maybe in today’s environment of big NIL dollars it’s too risky for the best football players to participate in multiple sports with the additional possibility of injury.

I think that we should have an indoor track facility now that Stokely is gone. But I don’t know where it could be located. Perhaps south of the river on the UT farm off of Alcoa Highway or near the pedestrian bridge anchored on the north end between Pratt and the FC-TBA.

I have saw some positive movement in the Track program a long way to go but some good gains.

I think that they now have a good coach. But we’ve fallen off ever since Arkansas came into the SEC. Their foreign distance runners helped them take over the conference. I think that TN won something like 27 out of 30 SEC indoor, outdoor, and cross country championships in the 1970s. Then Texas pulled Huntsman and Florida pulled Doug Brown (turncoat) away and Arkansas came in. Bill Webb ran a good program though.

I wonder how many SEC schools have/don’t have indoor track facilities. Some might have multi-use buildings combining with gymnastics. Strange that we don’t have a gymnastics team with Title IX. We do have the rowing team though that is oddly in the Big 12 Conference. Soccer, softball, and volleyball too. And the cheer squad might satisfy some of the Title IX requirements.
