You are correct. I looked up the fielding % yesterday and AA had the EXACT same fielding % (.907) as DC in SEC games. One fewer error on 11 fewer chances. I guess his just haven’t been as “memorable” or costly….

Idk, but Anitgua’s errors haven’t seemed to be as costly during play, I could be wrong.

I mean it was bad decision, but I think he makes it if he wasnt looking back the entire time down the line. It felt like he was in slow motion in real time, went back and watched it and he slowed himself down with that crap.

Yep. I remember being yelled at in little league to not look back for the ball once you've made the decision to go or were sent, you look ahead at where you're going to cut down on anything that might distract you. He was looking almost halfway down the line. Maybe he still gets thrown out but if he's focused full steam ahead and a better slide he's probably safe.

He is a far 2nd on the team with 7 errors, but his two plays this year when he cowboy-ed turning 2 alone, missing the bag and throwing wide, we're big.
