The saying "Misery loves company." doesn't really apply here though. That would suggest that we're also miserable and I don't think we are. We have a great team. That saying is about how misery attracts other miserable people. "Misery loves company means people who are suffering are comforted by the knowledge that other are also unhappy.".
Yeah, I know. It still doesn't work though. If all there is to that is the wordplay. Also, if that's what you call "deep" philosophy...then I dunno. It's a common phrase. If it's just the wordplay to you, then you don't realize that you're actually saying something more than just playing with words."Misery" is but a bit of wordplay on "Missouri" nothing more. I'm humbled to have inspired such deep philosophical ponderings, though.
BTW, Vols have the lead now.
