The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

Anyone fooled with FRTs? I'm curious about them.
I've shot one in a friend's AR. Rare breed. Feels like FA. I went the less expensive route with a Franklin Armory binary on my 9 mm PC Charger. It's a great option and honestly maybe more functional as a "double tap." It doesn't take much finger movement to shoot nearly as fast as the forced reset.

I have heard that getting the complete lower might be the most functional if you are considering the Rare Breed. But, that's about 3x the cost of a binary.

I purchased a Smith and Wesson 686 .357 Magnum (6 inch barrel 6 shot version) fairly recently. I’ve fired several hundred rounds of my .38 hand loads through it so far. Mostly used Ramshot Silhouette and Hodgdon HP-38 with Xtreme 125 grain plated bullets. I like the HP-38 with the 125’s. Silhouette was a little dirty with the 125’s at standard .38 pressure levels. It probably will be better with the Xtreme 158’s I have on hand. I’m going work up a good .357 load with some Hornady XTP 158’s and Accurate #9 once I get some time off work soon. I really want to shoot a hog with this revolver. I got one a few years ago with my .40 cal Glock.

Newest purchase. Tisas PX-9 Duty (imported in good 'ole Knoxville). Takes P226 mags

$249. Trigger is very similar to a Canik (so very good).

The only negative is that it came with the 10 round mags, but I have a P226 Legion so not a huge deal. There may or may not be another Tisas on the way that I'll post in a few days.

Nice looking gun. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this brand before. Do you know much about the Canik pistols? I see them around and the prices are pretty good. The only striker fired handgun I’ve got is a Glock model 22 .40S&W. I’d like to get a full-size 9mm that’s not too expensive just to shoot steel plates on my home range. I’ve the shot Smith&Wessons some and my brother has a Walther which is nice (it’s a longer barrel target model). Probably my favorite 9mm I’ve shot is a CZ75.
