I've shot one in a friend's AR. Rare breed. Feels like FA. I went the less expensive route with a Franklin Armory binary on my 9 mm PC Charger. It's a great option and honestly maybe more functional as a "double tap." It doesn't take much finger movement to shoot nearly as fast as the forced reset.Anyone fooled with FRTs? I'm curious about them.
Nice, I want a tikka pretty badly. Finally replaced my long range rifle since selling the Super Sass. Tikka T3 CTR.

Nice looking gun. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this brand before. Do you know much about the Canik pistols? I see them around and the prices are pretty good. The only striker fired handgun I’ve got is a Glock model 22 .40S&W. I’d like to get a full-size 9mm that’s not too expensive just to shoot steel plates on my home range. I’ve the shot Smith&Wessons some and my brother has a Walther which is nice (it’s a longer barrel target model). Probably my favorite 9mm I’ve shot is a CZ75.Newest purchase. Tisas PX-9 Duty (imported in good 'ole Knoxville). Takes P226 mags
$249. Trigger is very similar to a Canik (so very good).
The only negative is that it came with the 10 round mags, but I have a P226 Legion so not a huge deal. There may or may not be another Tisas on the way that I'll post in a few days.

Canik’s are great. I would 100% recommendNice looking gun. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this brand before. Do you know much about the Canik pistols? I see them around and the prices are pretty good. I have a SA Operator. It’s not 1/3 the quality of of my Nighthawk. It’s a great 1911.Yankee, this is kinda directed at you, but also for all of the other 1911 aficionados out there. You can go back and find my posts about the Springfield TRP AOS I bought; the optic; etc.
I am admittedly a yuge 1911 fan. And if it's a 1911, it's gotta be .45 ACP. It is what it is. Nothing against the 9mm, but I'm a .45 guy.
I have other SA's. A 1911 Loaded; a 1911 Range Officer compact; and an XD-S Mod 2. All .45, and all solid guns. Confession: I also have a Glock 21 Gen 5, which I love.
The TRP AOS is at a totally different level. By far the most accurate .45 I have ever seen. Now that it's broken in, it eats everything I feed it, and shoots cloverleafs at 10 yards. On a good day I'm an average shot. I dial-in at "most likely" range, which for me now is 10 yards and in. But I'm still punching black at 25 yards, and ringing steel 7 out of 10 at 50 yards.
And I shoot once a month. About 100 rounds each from the pistol of choice and the rifle of choice. Just trying to keep the basics fresh.
I can't afford one of those $3000 - $5000 safe queens. And I don't need to. This gun is the best 1911 I've ever fired.
If you ever found a way to add one to your collection, you will not be disappointed.
Re: the G21. Friend of mine is a Glock armorer school grad. He says I need to put a Timney 3.5 trigger in the Glock. So I told Santa...I have a SA Operator. It’s not 1/3 the quality of of my Nighthawk. It’s a great 1911.
Springfield’s are vastly underrated IMO (not just in 1911’s).
I do want a TRP though. I’m sure I’ll get one eventually
I also have a Gen 5 G21 MOS
