The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

Found a pretty good deal on a Tavor X95 5.56. I'm going to see how desperate he gets. I know it's a very polarizing platform, but i think it's cool. If I can get to around $1200, I might bite

I'm going to install the rest of the parts for the Ruger LCP Max this weekend (I already did the easy ones).

I figure a pistol trigger will be much easier than an AR trigger. Plus I've watched the M*Carbo install video a few times (and will as I do it).

Do I need a Springfield Kuna? No

Do I want a Springfield Kuna? Yes

Those do look intriguing, especially that delayed roller action. Even more intriguing (to me) would be a PCC based on that platform with a folding stock + 16" barrel. Bonus for a 10mm version.

Especially for the price

I would rather build my own Palmetto for less than that over buying a HP 5.56

Yeah, it wasn't a cheap build (not as cheap as my PSA's, for sure), but the boy built out the holiday sale gun and I got to shoot it the other day. Smooooooooooth. Accurate. Fast. Nice, nice firearm.

Making a list.

Currently evaluating a holiday season build:

FN stripped lower
Daniel Defense SOCOM upper with quad picatinny rails, grips, stock
Geiselle single stage flat trigger and ultra duty LPK
Toolcraft DLC BGC
Aero Precision buffer tube and spring
Warcomp flash hider
Fixed offset tritium iron sights
Optics TBD.

Not about to chase women or gamble at casinos, so, might as well build off quality parts at holiday discount prices.

Also got to run some rounds through the M1 carbine he talked a buddy of mine out of. Never been fired gun. Full ammo can. 20+ mags. $850.

That child has a way of getting what he wants.

It does look decent enough (far better than their pistols).

You can get a PSA 16" complete upper (w/ BCG& CH) for $280 and a complete lower for $140, so $420 all in.

It's gonna have to be sub $300 (or just over) to compete IMO.
