In the past...a Beretta 92FS, King Cobra .357 6", .22mag cowboy strapper, Ithica 1945 1911, Ruger .22LR target bull barrell, 2-3 shot guns, BAR .270, BBA .270 boss A-bolt, Marlin 30-30, Winchester 30-06 Field Master, Hawken .50 cal.I've stayed between 5-10 over the years. I knew they were rookie numbers but damn I gotta pump those numbers up.
Very nice piece.Anyone like Dan Wesson 1911s? Picked up this like new ECO and am extremely happy with it. I traded my Sig Spartan 1911 and a Para 1911 for it...think I got the better end of the deal. Should be a great carry gun...I have a Milt Sparks Criterion coming in tomorrow. I'll be done trading and buying for a while now.

Did I need another "Glock" pistol? No
Did I buy another "Glock" pistol? Yes
The Ruger RXM. For the price, and the (hopefully*) future of the platform, why not.
*even without the modularity, it's a "Glock" for all intents and purposes
I have not. It shipped today finally.Have you ran it yet? I've seen nothing but raves about it so far....
Which isn't good because I don't 'need' another one either but....
One of my favorite calibers. Shoot .38 rounds when plinking for cheaper and more enjoyable shooting.I'm really getting the itch for a .357mag wheel gun. Almost picked up a gently-used S&W 681 toward the end of last year when a local shop was having a "cost sale", but I exercised self-control and only brought home that FR8 rifle (which I took to the range this past weekend - it shoots delightfully).
This weekend, I may break down and go back up to that aforementioned shop and see what they have that's of interest.
I picked up a Ruger GP100 with the dual- material grip recently and have really enjoyed it. Agree with shooting 38s for target/practice. That 57 packs a punch and ain't cheap.I'm really getting the itch for a .357mag wheel gun. Of course, my 45 LC Bisley is a slugger too.
I've resorted to hold off buying any more guns until I get my hands on something similar.
Nice!
10-15 years ago, I had a Ruger Security Six in .357 and a Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter (with Bisley grips) in .44mag. Both were great, but I traded both away as I was focused more on expanding my collection of C&R/milsurp rifles at the time. I still kick myself on letting that Security Six go, to be honest. Still have the .44's "companion", a .44mag Marlin 1894 Cowboy. That thing is expensive to shoot, but lots of fun.
