The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

6933 upper will be here tomorrow. Clean it...oil it...and then just stare at it until the ATF stamp arrives for the original.

Please, no one rub my face in it. I know. I get it.

(sigh)

SCORE! 870 Police acquired. I also made a little impulse purchase on a P365XL.

Talk to me about lights. I don't really feel like dropping nearly as much on the Surefire forend as I did on the gun.
Always wanted a Sig but I usually end up Ruger due to budget concerns. Pics of the P-Magnum?

Congrats, but the light issue is out of my league. Glad you got what you wanted.

Now...if one wants to discuss barrier-blind 5.56 ammo, then I can help.

One more question: can the front bead be easily replaced with a night sight? Or, can it be rear-coated with tritium?

I have been meaning to post this for a few days and just haven't had the time. I'm a huge WW2 history fan, in turn I love WW2 era guns. I know some people don't like the style or pick out that they may not have seen any action, but I love holding history. Not knowing if it just set in a barrel somewhere or helped pave the way into Europe. I was out doing something that us gun guys know is dangerous, I had plotted a small road trip to a few gun shops that I had never been to. I got up and was looking at my phone to leave when I noticed it was 6-6, D day. So I ended up buying a bit more then I planed on, 303 British, 7.65x53 Argentine, 7.62x54R, to add to my collection. I will just post the 303 since for some reason it made me the happiest. Maybe one day I'll post my others up.

Very cool.
I collect similar guns. Usually the criteria is that they were used or could have been used to kill Nazis

Anybody have any experience with linear comps on AR's, specifically SBR's / AR pistols? I have (2) KVP comps for the 6933 and the spare upper. Figured I would install one on the original 6933 when I get it, then do an "apples -vs- apples" comparison of noise and muzzle rise with that and the unmodified new upper. If there's a noticeable difference, then I would install the 2nd comp on the new upper.

You can get a generic barrel mounted picatinny rail on Amazon and just stick a streamlight pro tac or something similar on it

I stopped into a lgs on my way home from work today, just to see what they had in store. I guess my last visit was when they were starting to restock from the coronavirus panic but I had not been back since the St. Simons shooting incident. Holy crap, it was bare.
