I never really used any IMI stuff personally. Just saw good reviews on it. I'm partial, as are my rifles, to the Prvi Partisan stuff. Accurate, cheap and reliable.
However, money wise, you should try this when it comes back in stock. Just try it for accuracy sake.

I'm familiar. Bought some of this back when I read the article about the best 5.56 loads, re: "64 grains or more, as hot as you can run it." This was right up there with the TBBC (556SBCT) as one of the best barrier-blind 5.56 rounds out there. And it was more accurate out of my rifle. Not by a lot, but noticeable.
But at a buck-sixty a round, compared to the .80/round (right now) for the Federal load, it just comes down to economics. I'm a believer in "shoot what you're gonna shoot", so between a couple of mags a month, and then keeping 800-1000 rounds on hand, well...you see the issue there. Yes, I know, once you're zeroed, there's no need to keep shooting the expensive stuff.
So I went with the Federal load, and somehow I ended up with 500 rounds of the TAP 62gr (must have caught it on sale), which I have not shot yet, but I expect similar ballistics. The 62gr TAP is my "filler" when I go below minimums on the Federals. FYI, I use 55gr TAP in-house for HD, followed by 3 mags (90 rounds) of Federal SBCT.
I'm okay on inventory for now with everything except for the 69gr SMK's, and SGAmmo has IMI ammo on sale now, so I'll bump up my stock on the heavier rounds now that I know my rifle(s) likes them.
As always, I really appreciate the feedback and advice found here. Oh, almost forgot. Spent yesterday working on "trigger reset" for follow-up shots. The Geissele SSA has a very short, crisp reset. Working on 3 targets about 15 yards apart, at ranges from 25-50 yards, it was easy to move and transition from target to target without losing my "rhythm". Decent 3-shot groups to center mass was easy. It was only when I got cocky and started working head shots that my age and the sun caught up with me. Punching stationary paper with no return fire and zero stress is no measure of combat effectiveness, but I did establish that the rifle will put the rounds where I aim them. So now it's on me.
Two weeks until Vol Football is back. I'm hoping Pruitt and staff turn out to be as pleasant a surprise as IMI ammo.
Go Vols.
