I shot a classmates Vepr 12, it kicks like murf , I'd rather have a Win SX3

It's quite heavy as well but runs any kind of Ammo you can imagine ,we shot the crazy dragon shells that make huge fire balls and loaded his 30 rd mag with everything from high brass turkey loads to bird shot, 3" only he's working on fitting a slide fire stock on it which will be fun

I've used Novak, but they won't work on a Officers Model, and I'd like to upgrade the sights on it like I've done with the Novak, on a couple of others

who else would you recommend

TIA

So the only downside was the recoil?

How come they won't work on the Officer model?

Curious.

They said they don't work on anything with that barrel length. it kinda blew me away, I've sent 2 other guns to them and they were great..

So I'm gonna check with the folks DH recommended, in the next few days

In the market for a "budget friendly" AR while prices are decent. I think I have settled on the SW M&P sport 2. Any other suggestions sub $700? I won't use it more than a couple of times a month for plinking and whatnot.

The Sport will be just fine for the backyard plinker.

i picked up the sport 2 about 3 months back. shoots as good groupings as my brothers daniel defense. i like that they added the dust cover and forward assist to the gen 2 aswell. go for it you wont regret the purchase!

Thanks. I think after doing plenty of research this is the rifle for me. They aren't easy to find right now, but I found one for $619 from a reputable online broker. I feel like they are only going to get scarcer and more expensive with an election coming up.

Tennessee is going to be changing the price of their lifetime permit for conceal carry. Dropping it to $300 for new permits and $200 for existing permit holders. Not sure when it's going into effect, but hopefully soon.

Are you in the Knoxville area?

Great information! Thanks. I'll be going that route next time.

Wow.
Improved .357 sig
.7.5= .295 ,so smaller with better ballistics basically more energy spent in the target.
The 6.5 x 55 rifle cartridge looks better though

The Czech Republic making strides.
