I'm not worried about rights being infringed , if Obama couldn't do it then it's not gonna happen, in my eyes atleast , I just want to hear more about technique and different schools that offer training. My rifle and shotgun skills are pretty good, I really need work on pistol handling skills.

It's not what HRC would have done directly, it was the potential that she would have appointed several SCOTUS judges that could have rewritten the interpretation of the right to keep and bear arms. She would have tried to reinstitute the AWB but it would have been iffy on whether she could get that through Congress. Not a Trump fan but he's probably less likely to appoint left leaning judges. All JMO.

Yep and the Heller Case would have for sure been overturned. This is a good day for Freedom Loving Americans. Let's hope Trump makes good on his promises. Time to Build That Wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a gun rights group that is going to try to introduce legislation called the Hearing Protection Act which would completely do away with any restrictions for owning a suppressor. Hopefully they can get it to pass.

It's funny that in a lot of places in Europe suppressors are highly suggested or even required for hunting. But here the NFA designation treats it like if you buy a suppressor you will suddenly become a hitman.

Yes it's just silly they are treated as some tool for murder instead of a simple accessory. Europe is far less gun friendly than the US and they encourage suppressor ownership and use. I think a lot of it is how Hollywood portrays them as complete silencers that reduce the report to a mere "pew". Our gun club was built 60 years ago in the sticks but now buts up against several subdivisions. I'm sure they'd be happy to have more suppressors available to the general shooting population.

And it's like getting a suppressor is the last step between sanity and hitman lol. As if the wannabe hitman wouldn't break the law and get one illegally.
