this was hard to watch, but something else bothers me even more. if tennesssee doesn't recruit, tennessee doesn't matter. the last look i had at the recruiting race puts the vols in the 'doesn't matter' category.
Not really saying I want him here, but there are other options besides Bammer assistant coaches. Heck, maybe ULM's head coach wouldn't be a bad hire?
i have to say that guy looks goodbut he would be another coach from La,could be bad vibes lol,CDD is still low on players, people talk about the new depth,i don't see it,there just new freshmen and sophs, that need time in the system
I'm not a fan of Jim Chaney's offense. I don't think it's ever going to get much done in this league... Too finesse for my liking..I think that Hamilton forcing Dooley to keep the assistant coaches that were in place is part of the problem we still have. My gut says Chaney wouldn't have been retained in the first place. We would have an OC that trusted the run more, and might have been further along. It's obvious that Kiffin was calling the plays when he was here, because we actually had a run game that enabled a good passing attack. The result was a more physical approach to offense.
