The Official #22/#17 Tennessee vs. East Tennessee State Game Thread, 3:30 PM ET, ESPN+/SEC Network+

Starters have lost focus. Seriously, that was so sloppy. Why do this when things have gone so well??? What does keeping the 1s in prove? Is there some incentive to go up be 48 in the first half? Now, they scored instead.

Back in the early 80s I was in high school working part time at our local radio station. I would come in on Saturdays during football season when we would "split the station" (different broadcasts on AM and FM sides, instead of simulcasting). I would handle the feed from the Tennessee Radio Network and broadcast the football game in the AM side.

I got paid to listen to John Ward calling Tennessee football.
A better gig there isn’t

These lousy announcers need to hang it up on trying to pump up ETSU. They’re gettin’ their asses kicked. There’s no spinning that
I am convinced it’s some type of sports manners or something lol.. they always sing the praises of the other teams we play, I think it’s to be nice.. they probably do this every game there is a disparity or theres not much else to talk about ie remember the fixation on ice cream sandwiches by the announcers one game ? Lol

Good job making something out of nothing. Wasn’t even where he intended to throw and lucked out when Matthew’s was able to snag it. With that being said, decisions like that will most definitely result in his fair share of picks in sec play. I guess you have to take the good with the bad. I’d rather have a baller than someone scared to make a play. I am preparing myself to see some picks though.
He pointed and rerouted Matthews. It was actually a pretty good throw
