Back in the early 80s I was in high school working part time at our local radio station. I would come in on Saturdays during football season when we would "split the station" (different broadcasts on AM and FM sides, instead of simulcasting). I would handle the feed from the Tennessee Radio Network and broadcast the football game in the AM side.

I got paid to listen to John Ward calling Tennessee football.

If you noticed, Joey waved the receivers to head down field like he decided to throw it to the goal line and see what happened. That probably ain’t working against Georgia but Matthews made a great play on the ball.
