The Jaguars would have never made that level of a trade to a same-division team. No NFL team really will.

It’s a pretty weak draft. They took one of the best players available for a position they do have a need for. Definitely don’t waste a 1st round pick on one of the qbs left on the board.

Geno Smith is a solid QB, IMO. Jeanty and Bowers are a pretty good start for weapons.

Jeanty is spevial but they probably should have gone RB in rd 2. The thing I hate about drafting a RB high is the salary vs. market value is not on your side. WR's, T's, and edges are expensive, so a $7m rookie DE is usually a great deal. A $7m rookie RB isn't a great deal.

Geno is mediocre at best. And he doesnt have the weapons on the outside like he did in SEA.
