The Official #19 Tennessee vs. Texas A&M Game Thread, 3:30 PM ET, CBS

Turn it around and upside down and pretend you're an A&M fan, do you realllllly think you have any chance of beating Tennessee when Tennesse is playing at home. I wouldn't.

Seriously: I think the only hope for Texas A&M to win is to get lucky on special teams and somehow go up by 10 points in the first 10min of the game and then for it to start raining really, really hard and for there to be 25 mph wind. I seriously just can't come up with a scenario less crazy than that for A&M to win.

Also, I'm watching Vandy making it very difficult to score.
Hope you’re right. If Milton is on Tennessee should stomp them. If he’s struggling we’re in trouble. A&M will try to load up and shut down the run. If Milton gets going the running game will loosen up and Tennessee will roll.

More so than any other stadium, Neyland gets so loud there will be several penalties for delay of game and being off sides called on them. Also, it makes understanding changes called at the line. For example changing if a player is going to cut left or right. That makes for INTs, settling for 3 pts when 7 would have been possible other places. The ball being snapped early or not at all etc. etc.

It certainly seems like home field advantage is bigger at Neyland than other places.

Neyland and LSU are probably the two best home field advantages. No argument there. About to load up and head to the stadium. Good luck. Go Vols!

Going to be many a&m fans here.
Unless Tennessee fans sold them their personal tickets, Texas is only allocated so many tickets. In most stadiums, with home fans buying season tickets, away teams are given one corner section or half of a section around one of the endzones and then several hundred in the 3rd deck. Just check out Ohio State, Michigan, Clemson and maybe UGA when they play at home. There's a definite trend and that's dictated by the NCAA because if not for allocating tickets to opposing teams fan base, opposing fans wouldn't ever get to see their team play in stadiums like the ones I just mentioned.

Thx for the pic. I zoomed into the end of the crane, but still couldn't tell if that is Gary Danielson's "Neyland low noise seat" or the SEC Birmingham Replay Center's official camera angle???

I still haven't figured out how he can call a game with his cranium lodged in Saban's arse. Oh well, the wonders of modern science(?)

Not a good sign. Don't want to read too much into it, but aTm isn't like the patsies we've seen so far this year. Great weather, quality opponent and an absolutely huge game for our season. A must win IMO. For there to be so many UT fans selling makes me wonder if this fanbase lacks confidence in this team?

They came to see what fall color looks like in the mountains.
Too bad they’re a little early! Can you imagine traveling that far to see fall colors and the forest is still green? It’s like the time I went to Grandfather Mountain and the visibility was about 8 feet.

My husband said the exact same thing. He's worried.

Y’all are worrying me. Think I’ll sit this thread out for this game.
I'm guessing it's my post that's bringing you down so you hang around. I'll step away. You'll provide positivity while this old Eeyore will just provide cloud cover. Will 'em to a win young lady.

It’s not just you. Everyone talking about how many A&M fans are there makes it sound like it will be a 50/50 crowd. Thought this is supposed to be a checkered Neyland, so wth?
