I don't find a losing record on the road worth writing about regardless of how other SEC teams perform. With the investments made in Tennessee football we should certainly have a winning road record IMO.

Yeah. I’d like to blame it on injuries but other than Hobbs we have the entire line back and they are just running all over us.

Defensive TD is a part of that and the muffed punt.

Also gilbert is worse this year than he was last year and some of our personnel decisions on special teams are perplexing at best.

Need to get his head right. We're 4-0, and up 20-17, if he makes the ones he had made easily when it didn't matter.

Manly we need to get them off the field instead of giving up those third down conversions. Let’s see if we make some adjustments to shut down the run…but we still need pressure on the QB because we’ll be leaving the DBs exposed

My biggest hope is that State is having a lot of success running a similar run play. Hopefully we identify what is going wrong on those plays at half and make the adjustment.

Heupel is such a pansy. Coaching scared again today on the road. Just gave State a gift by not using his timeout. That was so weak

It really was puzzling. It just didn't make any sense not to call a timeout. Miss St wasn't going to go for it and risk turning it over in scoring position.

DEs collapsing in is the issue. Not sure I've ever seen DEs coached to try the inside shoulder of the OL all the time. It makes it too easy.

A big part of coaching is being to make in-game adjustments. Let’s see what both staffs come out with. The Vols have been underwhelming with second half adjustments so far this season. Maybe today they get it done. Go Vols!

Terrible coaches half by Heupel. He coaches totally different on the road. Coaches scared and his teams play tight. Players play scared and play scared to fail. He has to start coaching on the road just like he coaches at home. It’s just sad to watch. We could have got the ball back with almost 40 seconds to play if he uses his timeout. Why not let it rip and see what happens. That was just wrong not using a timeout and trying to score.
