We got to the punter so fast no one else was there and he still had time to punt it

Merrill was smart and did not run into him and the punt was short, should have been blocked but smart play

If he'd followed thru with the punt...which is what everyone would expect...and he got it off, it's roughing the kicker. Great play by the punter. Merrill did what he had to do. No shame in how he handled that one. All he could do.
