The Official #15 Tennessee vs. Akron Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN+/SEC Network+

Fla and LSU have a lot of similarities......the QB is highly questionable as a passer, to a fault. But as a runner he'll get his dues even if he has open receivers. Neither will be winning anything, but you've got to account for their legs. It'll be a battle for sure with our D. Must see TV.

50/50 but the defender could have hit Tillman in the waist but he chose to go at his knees
He had to jump high for the pass. How can he hit him in the waist when his waist is about 5-6 feet off the ground?

If receivers jump, they get hit in the legs because that's what the defender has to hit.

Tennessee has a ways to go on defense before that unfortunately. Letting Akron run wide open is a huge problem going forward

Definitely a work in progress. I don't like the cushion we play with but overall, I feel good about the program trajectory.

I always complain about the announcers. I gotta say these guys seem to be o.k. - might even be Vol fans. But, pretty much talking a fair game.

They’re at least talking about the game. The ball state game ending might have been the absolute worst I’ve ever seen so it’s nice after just yo have them talking about the teams on the field and that it’s a football game.
