The Official #15/#15 TENNESSEE (3-1) vs Mississippi State (4-0) Thread - Zone Edition - Davis Wade Stadium - Starkville - September 27 @ 4:15 EST

Nope, stopped pulling for Bama in 1976 time frame.
What the… You were stained Crimson at one time… for real… Well, in the Left Behind books, there was on character who had the mark put on him by his parents when he was knocked out. He worked with the righteous and found redemption. At least you found Orange at some point in your life.

When I was 5 years old I lived in Athens Alabama where my father worked for TVA. My sister and I came home from school and thought we were Alabama fans because the kids and teachers were. My dad corrected that and bought us Tennessee beanbags to sit on when friends came over and sweatshirts to wear to school. He taught me to tell people that I pull for Tennessee because my grandfather and father graduated there and one day I will too. You pull for Alabama because you got a shirt at the gas station where your father works.

That’s some insight as to where I learned to talk trash

We moved back to Chattanooga when I was 6

I'm speaking more toward team attitude and cohesiveness. They don't quit and are all heart.
I know what you meant. I had a hard time pulling for Nico. Obviously I wanted him to be the best thing since sliced bread but I never did care for him even before he stepped foot on campus.

I liked the 15-16 team.

Just admit already you had a Nico jersey that you wore everyday

The house i grew up in had a GT grad and a mom from TN. My dad never cared for UT and we didn't get their broadcasts very well. Everything was either UA or AU. I liked Bear vs Shug so I gravitated to the sister kissers vs the barnyard animal lovers. Moved to TN 1 week after graduation, went to one ball game and never looked back.
