Never mind this team literally lapped the field in the regular season, was consensus #1 for 9 of last 10 weeks.

Some of Tennessee's most consistent hitters have been taking some ridiculous swings in the tournament. Beck seems to have kind of righted his approach, but I have never seen Gilbert swinging at the pitches he did the last couple of games. Too many middle of the plate pitches not swung at, too many a foot off the plate, swung at, and the pitch Gilbert swung at last night with the bases loaded, that thing was eyeball level. No way he's gonna hit that. Discipline at the plate will yield big benefits.

Gilbert is leading the SEC in hitting. I have zero concerns. He’s been money all season. As you said, Beck seems to have emerged from his slump. GBO!

I would start Seachrist and bring in Joyce middle innings then Redmond 8-9 Inning.

How many lefties in Florida’s lineup? That may be a reason to start the lefty Sechrist.
