So in the first couple of innings we were looking at too many pitches and striking out. Now we are too aggressive and not patient enough. Come on guys. It’s baseball.

I missed the first 4 innings because I thought the game started at 1. So, I can’t speak to the early inning’s approach. But, until that Ortega home run it has just felt like we were pressing and swinging at bad pitches.

Uh not true at all. 3-0, 3-1, 2-1 you can absolutely get better pitches to hit. You don't swing at a pitchers pitch like those 3 just did.

The current stat for first pitch strikes sit at approximately 70% in the NCAA.
