Wayne Huizenga confirms the meeting with Saban this morning... said Saban would be on his way to Tuscaloosa this afternoon.

I can't believe that we are going to have to seem him across the field in Knoxville on the 3rd saturday in october this year. They have to weeks off before he brings the team to knoxville .... and a coach can't make a difference in a year with the same players ????(cough...Cutcliffe...cough).....

Who Cares????????? UT and Auburn both own Bama and will continue. I think it is funny that Alabama had to go out and pay almost double what the highest paid coach in NCAA is making to get someone to come that crappy town. HELLO, Nobody wanted the job. Bama will be paying him and Shula for a long time. He will fit in well at Tusculoosa, a quitter with no integrity.

We should run a bet who will quit first, Saban or the Bama program will fire him. 5 Years max.

This is my last post on the Nick Saban hire. I think that our University did whatever they had to do to be able to put out team in the best position to win games and COMPETE for championships. I'm not saying that he is the second coming of Coach Bryant or anything, but he is the best College Football Coach that money could buy at this moment. Now we will see if he can earn it.

Calvin Cowherd is tearing Saban a new one on the radio because he didn't have the marbles to tell Huzingua and his coaches (called them on the phone) he was leaving. Said the only Steakhouse in Tusc is Arby's.

I always liked Saban but lost a lot of respect about the way he handled it, not that he took the job. Coaches come and go.
