If the LSU game had been officiated correctly and the snap delayed while the officials checked to see if Tennessee was going to respond to LSU's substitutions, most likely time would have expired before the snap of the ball.If the extras had been running to the sidelines when the ball was snapped that would be a decent argument. But they were all in the formation at the snap. A couple of guys had started off the field and were waved back on.
2010 UT had a real gripe about the UNC game. But the LSU game was simply Dooley out Les-ing Les Miles.
Absolutely the worst no call EVER.
Cost us that game.
There's no way that was a catch.
This, and what makes it worse is when we had like 3rd and 2 on 3rd down we got it. It was the previous possession when we were running the clock out. The Tennessee WR on the end of the line ask the line judge if he was okay (off), the official gave him the nod. After the snap he dropped the flag. Fulmer was more pissed about that than the blown TD call.florida dropped TD pass, 2000
