The MF'n Finals Thread

Awesome to watch the Spurs win another title! Didn't know if this core group had another one in them after that lost to Memphis in the first round a few years ago.

Just a great season though, especially to beat the Heat.

And on top of the Spurs winning the title, and more importantly, my wife is being induced tomorrow and we should get to meet our son.

Congrats on your son and the championship.

That also just goes to show that it takes more than the core guys. They brought in Green, Mills, Leonard, Diaw. Miami needs more bench help.

Thank you very much.

And how the Spurs are built, with such an emphasis on teamwork has made them my favorite professional team. Of course nothing sports related compares to UT football though.

Scottie Pippen stats:

D Wades stats so far:

Horace Grant stats:

MPG- 33
APG- 2.2

The stats totally refute your argument. Rodman was a better defender but was terrible on the offensive side. Bosh is a good defender and much better on offense. Bosh is definitely the overall better player.

Pippen is a little bit better of a defender simply because he was talker. However again Wade is a great defender and a better shooter. Wade is the better player.

Horace Grant better than Bosh???? Not even close. So please by using the official stats, explain how you came up with your convoluted statements.

I agree with you about Grant.....but stats don't tell the whole story.

2 stat nerds going at it, this ought to be entertaining.

You're probably wrong bigorangetrain.

Also, Jordan's supporting cast fit him incredibly well.

It's not like the big 3 didn't know it was going to be hard to get a bunch of good players around them with their contracts.
