The MF'n Finals Thread

Right, cause the Heat need another perimeter scorer and not an inside presence. Lebron would have killed to have a big who averaged 14 and 10. Lebron led the team in rebounds, points, and assists. If MJ ever did that on a team that even made it to the ECF*, you win the argument.

*Pretty sure he never did that, period.

He missed it by 0.6 rebs in 1988-1989. Averaged 32.5 pts, 8 rbs, 8asts, 3steals and almost a block a game. Thats pretty damn beastly.

Annnnnnd the Bulls didn't win ****. Miami had one great player, one former great player, one vastly overrated player and a bunch of guys who's best days were 5 years ago.

Annnnnd he said the Bulls made the ECF, they did. Reading is hard.

It's an amazing feat, but my point wasn't about how good Lebron is (or MJ) in leading his team in points, rebounds, and assists...the point is about how little support he had.

It's f-ing incredible that Jordan got 8 rpg that year, but he still didn't lead his team, which meant he had some decent rebounding. Lebron LED his team with 6.9 rpg....that's sad.

Clearly wrong about my whole 7 games heat win in.
Oh well at least I didnt bet money on it, still going to chicago, a cws game tonight, etc.

Again, just answering the trivia. F MJ and F LBJ, GPs the GOAT.

Glad you start to understand reason. Bosh is a HOF player. I know even a hater such as yourself understands that. The stats are there.

I'm not sure I'd classify Bosh as a HOF player just yet. Him playing in Miami is going to eventually hurt his stats, when you're the 3rd option on a team and at 7ft you don't even lead your team in rebounding then maybe we should hold off on the HOF comments. Bosh is a solid player who had some great years in Toronto.

I'm glad Miami lost in the fashion they did. LeBron is a beast but he chose to come to Miami and play with a beat down D Wade and no PG. If I'm him, I'm talking with K Love and get my agent to get with the Rockets or Warriors and make that happen.

That's interesting. My 2 favorite players. Can those teams pay them both? Phoenix would be most viable, probably. 47 win team, young, and tons of cap room.

I believe Golden State can, not sure about Houston. They have a ton wrapped up in Howard and Harden, not sure if Harden is maxed out.

Supposedly they didn't give Parsons an extension, so they can go after Melo next year. That was before Melo opted out, I'm guessing they would deal Parsons now, if they could get Melo. I'm almost certain Harden is a max player.

Edit i totally misread your post.

Id rather have Parsons than Melo, he's cheaper too.

I can't remember the details, but I thought they didn't give Parsons an extension to this contract so that they could get a better long term deal for both parties. Not sure if that's right or just spin.
