In regards to the JoeJuan Williams not playing situation:

"Knowing nothing about the prospect, I imagine this would seem to help our chances. Keeping him off the radar of other schools limits his options."

They are absolutely pathetic. First they all "liked" the Twitter updates that said North was out for the season. Then they practically celebrated that Williams was denied eligibility to play his senior season of high school football because they think it improves their chances to sign him.

It's hilarious that 1) they think schools will just forget all about JJW and 2) that they're excited about the idea of getting a big time recruit "because his pickings are slim"

wow. Ive seen alot of garbage on that site but this is one of the most laughable and ridiculous things ive ever read. Schools are really going to forget about him? like what? If anything, schools will be thrilled that he will stay healthy going into his college career. Some real clowns over there that dont grasp anything about football or recruiting.

Something else I haven't seen mentioned that needs to be better
Punt returns.

Trey Ellis returned 9 punts for a 5.4 yard average, and Darius Sims returned 6 for a 5.5 yard average. Vandy's total of 17 punts returned was tied for last in the conference, and its team average of 6.5 yards per return is artificially inflated by Stephen Weatherly's punt block and return against UMass. (A 5.4 yard average per return would have ranked VU 13th in the conference, just ahead of USC.)

Given the uncertainties on offense, I think we need to get more out of the punt return team this season.

I hope Williams somehow sees that post. He isn't going to Vandy anyway, but I'm all for having more people hate them.

I'm with you I think they look pretty decent. I saw in one of their threads they were discussing possible starting QB and one guy thinks it will be McRary and in his assessment mentioned that he was "bubbly." High school girls are bubbly... I don't know if that specific quality will help you win games.

"Bubbly" is definitely a must have quality for a qb in prison leagues imho. Listening to Vandy fans discuss football is like listening to George W. Bush give a symposium on thermodynamics.

Random thought, but it'd be interesting to see the reactions on VM if Butch magically ended up over there. Especially after all they do to try and knock bUTchugger Jones. I know it's delusion on their part, but still, it would be interesting.
