It's because they are back to SOV (Same 'Ol Vandy); they are back to hoping they win more than 2 games and praying that we lose, then celebrating like they won the SEC when we do lose.

Although I'm not sure I'd agree that everyone here is realistic about Alabama; we have several who claim they are "declining" every year and have said that ever since 2008.

I won't believe Alabama is declining until they win less than 10 games for a couple of years straight. Not that 9 wins is a bad thing either.

i know it isn't your thing but the "UUT" thing confuses the heck out of me. everyone of their other references to UT/Vols makes some level of sense but I can't figure out UUT. Anybody know where that one comes from?

I think they think they're being witty with the meaning being "Unofficial UT."

I've noticed that whenever Texas pops up they all make sure to reference the Longhorns as "The Real UT."

This and somehow it means something to his coaching ability. I'm pretty sure if you take an incompetent head coach in over his head and then double the amount of responsibilities he has isn't a recipe for success

It's because any poster over there that isn't chugging the kool-aid and even mentions the Vols in a somewhat positive way or gives a realistic outlook for the season is immediately labeled a troll and is posting there on borrowed time

I'm 95% sure I've seen somebody over there ask what uut meant since it's a pretty common insult? they throw around. From what I remember I think it means University of UT. No idea where it came from. You can usually find it with along with Viles, Vawls, utee, etc. Considering the majority of the state are Vol fans, but all Vol fans are also toothless hillbillies, I've never understood how this makes them look any better since they are still living among us peasants in this state. It must be nice on their mountaintop.

And yet they want a proper name for the annual game they play against us like it's some rivalry. I think in order to be a rivalry there at least needs to be competition. It tends to be more of our late season scrimmage and bowl game practice more than anything.

I mean at least with games like Bedlam or the Civil War or the Iron Bowl it's generally an "anything can happen" kind of game. But UT-Vandy?

Vandy has a really bad combination right now....virtually no talent, absolutely no depth and a feckless, incompetent headcoach who's way in over his head. I'm almost rethinking my visceral hatred for James Franklin because he really did a number by having a couple of "great Vanderbilt seasons" and really cranking up the fan delusion....perhaps rather than my disdain, he more rightly deserves a medal.

"Back in the day" when VM was independent, I would create new accounts over and over to troll them. I would just keep creating Hotmail and Yahoo email addresses.

Can you not still do that? I would think as long as it was a different e-mail address they'd be none the wiser, of course I know basically nothing about how the interwebs work anyway.lol

I'm just glad volnation is the way it is having posters with varying opinions and even allowing posters from rival fans to come here and speak their mind. VM is the exact opposite it's a site with a horrible layout, only positive vandy thoughts are permitted no matter how ridiculous, and only rival posters that kiss vandy's a$$ are allowed to post long term there. That's how you get those insane predictions of their upcoming season and player talents because no one is there to bump the breaks on their delusions

It's just easier for them to live in a fantasy world where every negative post is just a Ewetee fan in disguise and unicorns (being ridden apparently by their new OC with strikingly beautiful eyes) sh*t 8-4 seasons.

Well now it's through Scout (and I think for a while it was through Fox Sports) so technically I think you can, but now I'm pretty sure if you are a new user Chief Pansy Don has to "approve" new posters and posts.

Back when I did it, they were more independent and you could post right away, he'd just delete them after the fact.
