It's not that they beat us two years in a row. It's the utter contempt and arrogance they showed in the victory afterwards. Humility is not a word I would associate with any Vanderbilt fan after the way they acted. And them getting their ass handed to them this last season was poetic justice for the way they treated others.

My only regrets this last season were they didn't lose to UMass, Charleston Southern or Old Dominion. And we didn't hang 70+ points on them.

50-16 doesn't have a thing to do with bowl games, it has to do with how poorly you look on the football field against Tennessee for the better part of 6 decades.

Your team's greatest bowl appearance in the last 20 years is a loss in the outback bowl in 1998. Feel free to look at our post season history in the same time span.

Using "one crap bowl" (win) as some sort of witty retort as a Kentucky football fan is asinine. The VPLR is even worse.

A Tennessee fan on a Tennessee site starts a Vanderbilt thread. - My guess.. he hates an in state rival and wants to make fun of them.

A Kentucky fan on a Tennessee site starts a Kentucky thread. - My guess.. he's too stupid to find a Kentucky forum and is colorblind.

The irony of you pointing out that a Tennessee fan started a Vanderbilt thread on a Tennessee forum while you yourself, a Kentucky fan, comes to a Tennessee forum to start a Kentucky thread. At least he's a Tennessee fan, what's your excuse for being here? Kentucky fans don't want to play with you either?

For what it's worth, I do find humor in a Kentucky fan insulting the success of another football program. It's equivalent to listening to a 10 year old criticize a political party. It really is cute that Kentucky fans think they know about football. I've watched Kentucky football and I don't even think Kentucky football coaches know about football. Anyways, thanks for the laugh, pu$$y McCat.

Fwiw, we went 5-7, which is better than most people thought. Robbed of a bowl game. I'd say right now they've done pretty well. Didn't deserve the pay raise so soon, but if we get 5 or 6 again I'll be happy.

One crap bowl? If you wanna talk smack about our respective basketball programs, go ahead, knock yourself out....I have no leg to stand on, I'll sit here and take it. But football? How about we've just suffered through arguably the worst 7 year stretch in our school's history and you guys are 1-6 against us? Also, in addition to the 50-16 beat down we just put on you after pulling out starters after 3 quarters, consider this....

Tennessee leads all time 77-24-9

Tennessee has won 29 of the last 30 games

Tennessee has 811 alltime wins in football...Kentucky?....587

I could go on about bowl game appearances, sec titles, national titles, etc....shall I go on?

The VPLR has been a running joke (that sometimes is true) for a long time. Not sure that is meant to be a serious insult.

Let's compare UK basketball to UT football for fairness and see how it looks. But oh wait, UT fans will always say "It's the SEC! We don't care about basketball! Only UK does". So that is kinda pointless. UT has more history than 90% of college football teams out there. You got one of the great guys in Neyland to come in and set some foundations for great coaches to follow. Meanwhile we've been wallowing in the mud since we kicked Bear out. Thank God the basketball route worked out though.
