They've found a way to continue making sec money despite producing a cusa quality product on the field and court. At least when we suck, tennessee can generate revenue, spends money and fills stadiums. Vanderbilt can't even fill their stadium of 40,000. The revenue they're bringing into the sec actually devalues the conference and takes money out of the pockets of programs that have actually earned it. I predict decades upon decades of vandy missing a bowl but getting a cut of the revenue. Vandy really is smart... When a cockroach can get an equal share, they've definitely outsmarted you.

By the time Vandy has concluded their spring practice, spring will start.

My God when you have a new O and D coordinator after the FIRST year under Mason, someone has to figure out he's an idiot. It is Vandy, so nevermind.

Worst loss I can remember. And to friggin uT. Stallings gets to eat a lot of the blame - lousy coaching as well as pitiful middle school free throw shooting.

It hilarious how he's shocked they lost to us. Stallings has a losing record vs UT and is .500 or worse vs every UT coach he's faced. What did they expect.

The alumni base is their largest problem IMO. So many of them come to Vandy from elsewhere, strictly for the education aspect and then return to elsewhere. 60% of their student body is made up of kids from somewhere other than the South, so the TN portion of that is obviously smaller. By contrast 67% of the undergrad student body at UT for 2014 is from TN. A good portion of those kids are likely to remain in TN and play a role in supporting the university moving forward.

To piggyback on what you wrote, somebody needs to tell that vandy puke, thst we own them in every single sport we play them in all-time....including baseball where we're like 150-130 all time vs those idiots. The unbelievable arrogance those guys now have after 2 throwaway wins vs arguably our 2 worst football teams in my lifetime is just unreal.

This was the crowd that showed up to hear Mason speak today at the Sportsfest thing they had. LMAO. Butch couldn't make it because of the weather.

cant wait to watch them lose to Houston, MTSU and Western Kentucky this fall. All 3 have a good chance to beat them. 2 of those are better teams than Vandy right now.

The fact that Butch couldn't make it, Inky couldn't make it and it was an absolute downpour all day in the mid-state, I'm sure the whole crowd was pretty pathetic. I was planning on going until I woke up and saw outside, then it was no longer worth the 80 mile round trip.

MTSU has a 3 game win streak against Vandy. I might actually go to that game if I don't go to the Arkansas-Tennessee game.

Yet, if Butch would've been there, the place would've been packed. There was still a pretty good crowd there from what I hear. Just not to see Capt'n AnchorFrown.

Wish the weather would've cooperated better. This week was just a complete mess if I've ever seen one. First time in awhile I truly hated living in the mid-South and missed FL. It was mid 70's all week in my hometown and my sister made it a point to rub it into all of us living up here.
