Vanderbilt's class ranks #1 among teams that signed 18 or less players.... There were 24 teams that signed 18 or less....
Saw that on Twitter....
Class rated higher than the likes of Michigan, Duke, Boise St, Maryland, Colorado, Pittsburgh, Indiana, Wake Forest, Northwestern, Washington St, Kansas St, Kansas, Purdue, BYU, Cincinnati and Minnesota.
Sooooo.....Mason says he'll stake his reputation on this class.... A class that has only 18 players, only 3 4 star players and ranks 49th in the country. Considering what his reputation now is after his disastrous first year, I'd say that's just about right.
But but...they have the #1 recruiting class of teams that signed 18 players and if you looked at the Superbowl you would see that there were no 5 stars! Vandy got all the diamond 2 stars in the nation! Rahtards!
lg? Lol
It's easy to get caught up in the euphoria of signing day however Vanderbilt's 2015 signing class rates 14 out of 14 in the SEC according to the composite rating. It really doesn't matter if we beat Purdue or Maryland or Kansas - that doesn't make us better in the SEC.
We also only signed 3 blue chips (4/5 star). Alabama and Auburn each signed 20 blue chips - they each signed more blue chips than our entire signing class. Tennessee nearly signed as many blue chips as we have total members in our signing class. That is what we are competing against.
Vanderbilt may have signed a good class in relation to its past 60 years, but it didn't sign a class that will move us into the upper tier of the SEC.
Now they're creating measurements to give their class a #1 ranking:
On Vandymania, I'm not sure who screwed up and signed with these clowns but here's the commit breakdown.lol:
