The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

Vandy future OOC schedules

2015: Western Kentucky,Austin Peay,MTSU,Houston
2016: MTSU,Western Kentucky,Georgia Tech(one game still to be scheduled)
2017: MTSU and Western Kentucky(all that was listed)

So Vandy really wants a losing streak to MTSU and Western KY apparently. Why not get Memphis too and then every FBS team in their general area can beat them every year.

I guess Vandy didn't want GT beating them 55-7 at home in 2017. Vandy's OOC is a joke but they'll lose a majority of those games.

Well Vandy may be able to sell a decent amount of tickets to their first couple games. Not because anyone would give a darn about the team or game, but so they could all try and get EGs autograph and pictures with him. They just better hope he doesn't go out of his way to tell people not to bother him so he can watch his son. They may actually offer him a cut of the ticket sales just so they wouldn't look so bad on TV and could even try to tell recruits that all the people are there to watch them play.

If they were smart they would talk him into sitting with the team during the autograph and picture portion of the black and gold game and then just photoshop or edit him out when using the pictures and videos for promotional material and hype videos.

I gotta give Mason some credit, at least he didn't buy out the GT game. Now if CJF was till there he would've already had that game off the schedule and probably the MTSU game too. It would've been hard for him to continue to claim owning the state when he's losing to us and MTSU every year. but then again I'm sure he would still do it anyway, heck he could lose to us, mtsu, ttu and memphis and still get in front of the media and say they own the state lol

Houston WKU and MTSU will be interesting for them this yr. Houston will more than likely beat them at their place. They have some real talent. WKU has a dynamite offense. Mtsu will be jacked for that one and they hate vandy.

He hasn't bought the game out yet. After Western Kentucky embarrasses them, he'll re-consider.

@daj2576 thanks for the offer but I respectfully decline. Nothing personal, I just don't think we would reach consensus on much and I really don't have much more to bring to the debate. We simply don't, and most likely won't, agree. And that's fine. And since I have declined if that offer was specifically to me I would encourage you to edit that post and remove the email addy so as to prevent web crawler harvesting as a minimum.

Back more on point to this thread, I am still amazed that Vandy is ranked ahead of FLA. I don't expect that to hold but still at this late is is absolutely mind boggling.

Should you ever change your mind, the offer stands indefinitely.

I tend to enjoy learning about why people believe what they do. I think a debate is healthy on most all issues, and firmly believe that if I cannot articulate the strength of my belief system against the strength of counter belief systems, and find that the cumulative weight of the pros outweighs the cons, that I should reconsider my position. Maybe I am alone in that journey, who knows.

I appreciate your concern about my email address. That is an email address associated with my blog and the social network accounts that support that blog. That address is already ''out there'', so to speak.

Go Vols!

I think it's hilarious 104.5 in Nashville is having both Jones and Mason on today.

Is this for the contrast; like show how an awesome recuriting coach feels on NSD and then on the flip side show how a terrible recruiting coah feels?

So about that Vandy signing class today, huh? Adam Sparks who covers Pansy says they expect to sign 16-18 this year. Lol.

On Vandymania, I'm not sure who screwed up and signed with these clowns but here's the commit breakdown. :eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

4 Star-1
3 Star-12
2 Star-5

As in the first 16-18 to show up?

Pretty much. Although, I heard Adam Sparks from the Tennessean actually say.....hahaha.....that Vandy's "top players signed were as highly rated as any other team in the SEC"......... what? And then that idiot Mark Howard on 104.5 the zone repeated it like it was fact. I tweeted at them that that was just about as far from the truth as is possible.

Evidently, they're very excited about QB Shurmur, LB Smith and CB Sheffield. Not bad players but none of those guys would remotely headline a class at Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU or, dare I say, The University of Tennessee.

I love that Vandy is seeing our back to back Top 5 classes and realizing that their short run under Franklin is in the past. Back to Same Ole Vandy, LOL
