The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

lol, good catch, I guess they just never replace their tough OOC rival of Wake Forest, the NCAA and SEC take pity and dont make them replace it with anything and Vandy leaps at the chance

I thought Temple was their tough OOC...oh wait.

I guess UMASS...never mind.

Charleston Southern is their tough OOC match.

**** me but these vandy *******s really are *******s. A group of those elitist ****s are trying to equate their recruiting woes to the rape trials and the bad press surrounding it. A couple of the smarter anchors chime in to tell the other dumb anchors that perhaps we suck at recruiting because we suck at football. It would be hilarious if not for the tragedy surrounding the rape. These elitist ****s need to be anchor raped into reality. Or just **** stomped out of football. End drunken rant.

Honestly with the way things are going for them in recruiting and the fact that they already looked like crap with the kids they already have on the team, I ould honestly see them going 0-12.

I just can't for the life of me get how they struggle so badly in recruiting. They are in the SEC so they get to sell playing against the best. They have a crappy roster so they can almost guarantee immediate playing time to any 4-5* kid and they've also put some kids in the NFL so they can say even if its just you carrying the team that would look better to the NFL than just being another kid a Bama where they don't know if its you that would be great or the fact you were surrounded by better talent that made you great. They have all that to sell and yet they can't even get 3* players that have dreamed of playing in the SEC to come and play.

It's not a bad pitching stance, but most elite guys are going to want to play where they will get development from coaching too.

You and eight other people are why rapists and psychological victims exist to begin with. People who don't try and solve problems, simply *****, point guns, or and fire.

It's a hope people like you don't get positions of power, half the world would've been nuked by now if they didn't agree with you, and god forbid science, like the psychological study of rapists and abuse victims, disagrees with your hope.

Truly terrible people guys like you are, and its a shame so many on volnation are just like you.

You're either a troll or have your head, along with your textbooks, so far up your a$$ you can chew your food again on the way down.

Damn...

I came here to insult Vanderbilt and all I found was some dude calling everyone else sick while he's defending people who become rapists. I think I read that right, I didn't bother going back anymore after that because this is too screwed up for my blood.

The 2 star DT Yale commit, 2 star Iowa State WR, 2star Tulsa RB and 2 star FIU RB commit all told Vandy 'no thanks' in the last few days. They cannot find a RB or DL. Good lord lol

It's still funny, but it's getting to the point where I almost feel bad for laughing. Like, when you see an old person trip and fall down - it's funny in the moment, but becomes sad really fast.

Can they use the testimony from the first trial to avoid having to cross examine the victim? Or is it all stricken because of the jury?

Im not a lawyer or anything, but since the verdict was just reached and sentencing hasn't taken place couldn't they just remove that one person and reconvene with one of the optional jurors that sat through the whole trial. It would be so much quicker and easier and we all know they would reach the same verdict.

Vandy wiffed on all the 2 star desperation offers they sent out this week. So they stooped lower. They just offered a 77 2-star FCS Villanova commit.lol wow

The fact you think that way is part of the problem in America and a large part of society as a whole, especially the south. They did something bad, so they must be evil, so we should throw them in a cage (because that is going to help in 15 to 20 years when they get out of prison) without trying to figure out why or how we went wrong as a society raising them.

If half of the things these boys did are true (and seeing they were found guilty, its safe to say they are) then you have to ask where it came from. Where they abused as children? How about the kid who had no father growing up, how big of an impact was that? Studies show no father makes you exceedingly more likely to commit crimes as you get older, and studies show victims of sexual abuse are more likely to commit sexual crimes.

Telling them we hope they rot in prison or how they failed doesn't make the world a better place. Hell, putting them in prison doesn't make the world a better place because their deeds are already done and will never be undone. It's a punishment to them, not a protection to the outside world, because the fact they weren't able to be identified as people who could commit these crimes beforehand is the protection we pretend putting them in prison affords. What these boys need is years of therapy on top of this prison sentence to try and figure out the real meaning behind it, and then we use that information to try and target people in the real world with the same symptoms and signs to make sure it never happens again.

When you find a rabid animal you put it down. Period. Address how the animal got that way next but first thing make sure the rabid animal doesn't hurt anything else.

And on a side note wtf is wrong with your sense of morality dude?! Think you would want to turn the other cheek if that was your daughter??
