Buyers remorse lulz

I think it would be an excellent PR move on Vandy's part to refund a portion of our tickets as we bought into this bill of goods and were sold a completely defective product. And take the money out of Williams inflated salary.

Of course this is a total fantasy but it galls me that I spent money on this. It all falls on the powers that be - they hired this guy not us.

You're right 0-12 is staring them in the face. 200 fans will be in Vanderbilt Stadium for the UMass game this Saturday

Looking at the future schedule...

UMass - Maybe...but they put up a fight against Colorado yesterday. But then again, it is Colorado.
USCe - lulz, OBC will remind them he's not dead
UK - Grudge match. I think the Cats have a way to go in their football program, but I'd be surprised if this one wasn't a 20+ point difference.
UGA - Again, grudge and revenge match.
Charleston Southern - Likely their only win
Mizzou - Even having a year where they lost a lot of talent, they will dominate
Old D - I'm thinking they pull the upset. Maybe a 14 point or less spread in the end though
Florida - Yet one more grudge match.
Miss State - Blowout
UT - Provides the season ending STFU to Vandy fans about who was, is and will continue to be the dominate power in the State

Eh, every fan base has their share of "what the ****, dude, just stop" guys (including UT and UNC), but I tend to actually respect Duke fans.

NC Stupid and Vandy, on the other hand, not so much.

Heinicke is going to have a lot of fun vs that Vandy D. Odu's weakness would be on d but Vandy is in no position to take advantage of that

My point was a hypothetical one. And I don't foresee him leaving either, but there is absolutely no way I would discount the most historic college football program, who happens to be in his home state, and the allure that could have on any coach.

I think the difference is, if you start seeing the coaching carousel going again late in the season and Butch's name getting dropped, UT will start coughing up an increase in salary.

Teams can bid all they want, but my guess is Hart and the money folks like what they see so far. And they will play the bidding war.

Two schools I bet CBJ would leave Tennessee for are Notre Dame and Michigan. Michigan makes me nervous because the way they're going,they're going to be looking for a new coach in a season or two.

Comes down to money. And even if we don't have more than a 6-6 or 7-5 season, the supporters can see the future is bright. And will (probably) pay to keep him around.

I won't put a figure on it, but a substantial increase in salary would not be out of the picture to keep him around.
