I have several vandy fans in my family and I can't tell you guy's how happy this makes me to see this meltdown. These D-BAGS talk more crap about us on their message boards than most VOL fans realize. To he!! with vandy, I hope they lose every game. WE ARE NOT UTjr vandy fan. They are getting a good dose of humility right now and I LOVE IT!!!! Their board (vandymania) is literally melting down. I read a post today where a poster suggested starting a petition and said " Hey, it worked for Tennessee"..Hilarious!!!

One poster said that Franklin passed on USC, UT, Texas and Ark jobs bwhahaha. I highly doubt he was offered any of those jobs. There may have been some preliminary talks with a few but no offers. I'd be shocked if we reached out to him or his agent at all!

Seriously doubt UT offered him. I could see USC making an offer once Kiffin was gone. Arkansas was a dumpster fire before their coaching search even started.

No way he would pass on Texas.

I really feel bad for Derek Mason. But don't get me wrong, it's great having vandy down where they belong.

The only person that's claimed UT offered the job to Franklin is his lover Clay Travis.

this has become my favorite thread. I always had a soft spot in my heart for Vandy because they always fought hard. But after their recent attitude and the fact that this idiot of a coach got on national media and said they couldn't have a open practice because of Tennessee( which insinuates Tennessee cheats) I could give a rats arse if they ever win again and I delight in their pain and suffering.

after the game some guy on their 247 board said he didnt think Ole Miss had more defensive talent than VU. ummmm what?? He said they are just confused right now. That last part is prob true but during the offseason they got so mad when you mentioned growing pains in the 3-4 transition. They won stop anybody with a young, confused secondary and a big fat DL that gets zero pressure. Some guy said he counted like 25 missed tackles in the secondary throughout the game saturday haha

Confused? I seem to recall their fans beating their chests claiming that Vandy's players are smart so they'll learn the 3-4 concepts faster than the simpletons at UT and UGA. My, my how their tune has changed.

Good lord. In the post-game press conference after Ole Miss, Mason raves on about how Rivers did a good job.

Surely he doesn't actually believe that and is only saying it in a desperate attempt to win back the good graces of his team.
