There are multiple tickets for UMass, Charleston Southern and Old Dominion on StubHub for $7-$9 each. The SEC games are a little higher on average, about face value starting point. The Tennessee game has 1,600 tickets left but the starting price is $64 each, which tells me the orange fans are grabbing them up and Vandy fans are taking advantage of the profit.
Any old timers on this board remember when UT tickets were only $7-9 a piece?
That said, i will give him this much; he obviously enjoys mercilessly blasting Tennessee fans, which is great-- however, I'm not going to go out of my way to applaud him for something I myself (and pretty much all of us here) have been doing since the dawn of existence; in short, I agree 100% that UT as a whole sucks, but big deal.
Everyone with human brain understands that much across the entire US of A.
I was saying this when this first came up. Everyone on here is dillusional. We've had some moderate success the past few years and everyone wants to jump on the "we've made it" bandwagon when in reality we aren't anywhere close. Even our best teams the last few years would've been beat badly by Stanford. We aren't anywhere near regularly having anything but cupcakes in the OOC schedule.
Would there not have been a performance clause in Mason's contract? There must be a clause that stipulates if Mason falls short of certain targets (like scoring points, for example), he can be terminated with a much smaller buyout. Someone in legal please tell me this is plausible; I'm hanging on by a thread of hope here.
Seriously, they dropped Northwestern because of how difficult Northwestern is. Funny, cause outside of Fitzgerald, their program is rather pitiful and probably on par with the 'whores. Vandy is delusional for believing they'll ever be relevant and can compete in the SEC when they can't even compete with Northwestern. They better stick to Wake Forest and Washington State. Who am I kidding... they better stick to Temple. Wait... Chattanooga? Yeah, Chattanooga. They might have a real chance there. Maybe.
